First of Its Kind
Indigenous Designs, a Northern California-based fashion design company, is proud to announce its collection will receive a first-of-its-kind “Fair Trade” certification Fair Trade USA. The certification demonstrates that Indigenous’ business practices in its production—from organic cotton fields in South America to high-fashion boutiques around the world—treat people and the planet with respect and dignity.
Indigenous Designs will stop in locations throughout Northern California, Idaho and Washington late October through November. For further details visit www.facebook.com/indigenousdesigns.

SH, CV, JK, TOS....
I'm a big fan of Clare Vivier and her collection of bags; handbags, clutches, totes...Yesterday I was invited to a tete a fete in her honor at the new Soho House. It was a lovely time and we even managed to sneak in drinks and dinner on the rooftop patio watching the sun go down over the lights of LA.
At the party, I met Jesse Kamm, forever immortalized by her shift with the big black bow (see pic above). We chatted a bit and Jesse shared some very interesting projects she and her husband have underway.
++ She also mentioned that after a very short hiatus she is back designing and her collection can be found at TenOverSix in their new location on Melrose. Here's a blog post from the TenOverSix shop - click here - which includes photos from Jesse's new collection - ENJOY!!
