Rob Walker - author of the Consumed column in the NyTimes and of the great blog Murketing first brought this to my attention.
Don't mess with our chocolate
Long story short...
"U.S. Chocolate Industry are supporting a change in the basic formula of chocolate, by allowing the use of vegetable fat substitutes in place of cocoa butter. In our opinion, these changes will adversely affect the eating, physical and nutritional qualities of chocolate, begging the question: What consumer benefit is associated with implementing such change?"
My response - NOTHING!

Daniel Moyer designs and builds furniture. He uses small-mill locally harvested hardwood to create the furniture. He had a lot of wood scraps from the biz so came FunkinFunction longboards .
I don't skate and don't intend but these boards are cool even for the non-skater.
I love the name, the logo and the lines. They have that old school vibe - I bet they ride pretty darn nice too....

Kiosk is a COOL online/brick & mortar shop in Soho, NY.
Kiosk - sells a range of products from all over the world, one country at a time. The featured country will change approximately every four to five months. You can sign up to be emailed to see when the products/country change.
Here are some items from the recent shop - licorice rolling paper, chalk and an eco-fire log!

After viewing Anna Wolf's photography on her website (click here) or blog (click here) you may be experiencing a bit of a deja vu' - she has shot for countless publications.
The photography is very captivating but I really love her little books (see below or click here).
