Babajiji means Grandparents. This I learned last Thursday night at a beautiful little soiree hosted by the Tortoise Clan. The evening was part jewelry show and part dining experience. The food was prepared by Yuri Nomura. It was fresh, delicious and the presentation was impeccable. Jump over to her website for more - Eatrip. Her website is Babajiji and it was Yuri who taught me Babajiji means Grandparents!

Eggleston
I still have to get to Lacma to see the Eggleston exhibit but I did go Sat evening to hear an amazing group speak about film and Eggleston over the weekend. Panelists included Harmony Korine and the director of Cinemotography of the upcoming Sofia Coppola Movie Somewhere, Harris Savides. I and you, can get a little bit of Eggleston before hitting the exhibit - Lacma has created screensavers for your laptop, ipad, smartphone and desktop - click here
All of the above = FREE!!
So Support your local museum and join; Tight on dough? Get a friend to join another museum and make a pact to take each other to openings and events, it's like getting two museums for the cost of one!

Project Noah
Over the weekend I met one of the founders of Project Noah - what a cool concept! In a nutshell it's a user generated media platform designed to connect people with nature! Who doesn't need more nature!! Check it out here
Oh, I also met David de Rothschild. He's not so bad either.....
