Ciao 2008...DEFINITELY ready for 2009.

If you are looking for something for me besides the no fail, I will love you forever, chocolates or champagne pressie. Please consider a candle from Le Labo....
On a completely unrelated side note - do you know about GOOP - Gwenie's weekly email blast. I tried 2 of her recipes this week - the frittata and pumpkin bread. Love the idea of a pumpkin bread without sugar but here is my advice. INCREASE the spices; bland, bland, bland.

I am using Firefox since apparently there is some bug that it allows people to access all your passwords. And its a trial by fire situation, plus none of my bookmarks are on firefox. Its rainy and cold here and unfortunately someone, meaning me, needs to walk the pooch.
Wouldnt it be nice if this came in a size XXXXXL and he could walk himself.....

It's a chilly rainy Monday is LA....so let's talk about Sunday. After I finished working the Stacy P (Dogtown and Z-boys) Made in America Global Green Event. This was an amazing doc. I busted over to Gordon's store opening on Melrose. I basically missed the entire event but I wanted to show my support. And Gordon rewarded me with this beautiful rope bracelet, cool right? Reminds me of my childhood on the beaches of the east coast. But Gordon took it one step further (so Gordon) and had each bracelet scented from Le Labo. Which, if you don't know now has an LA outpost on 3rd. And most definitely worth visiting. Here are some bad photos.....

I was planning to blog about my great coat from Jodi Guber of Beyond Yoga. I picked this jacket up years ago and it hasn't let me down. Its soft sweatshirt material, 3/4 length with a built in scarf. Perfect for Westside chilly nights like last night. BUT I can't find a photo...Jodi has a great collection, in addition to the jacket I have some pants and tops. To see it all click here

My NYC trip focused around me showing my face at this great event. GUESS WHAT - girl(meaning me) helps get her clients editorial placements even though she is not in the business of getting her clients editorial placements!

No website as of yet and I haven't personally visited the store in NYC but the photos are gorg. My friend had some at his pad and generously gave it to me last weekend on my visit. The skin cream is like the best citrus mousse you've ever used. Check it for yourself...www.georgiany.com

Yesterday I got my hands on a jar of Giovanni Cosmetics Organic Body Butter. For an organic product its extremely affordable and effective! The butter is just that, but unlike a salve that never seems to get into your skin and just picks up every piece of lint and dirt after you apply. Giovanni gets in and smells great.

For anything shiny, so these glitter pumpkins are no exception. I guess you can learn how to create via Martha Stewart but the true credit goes to a floral designer in NYC, Ovando. Click here to be transported to the website....Support the Independent Business!
Martha's got her own marketing staff and plenty of cash for the time being.

Hummm...not sure what it is about this clutch. Is it the perfect shade of brown or the Hermes bit with the lock that makes me lust it so.....but I can't seem to get it off my mind.

This article (click here) mentions how Tina Fey wants to stop impersonating Ms Palin come Nov 5th. WE DO TOO! Besides that, doesn't Ms Palin have more important lines to be memorizing, like her thoughts on foreign policy, mavericks and hockey moms.

Are you looking at my title wondering if I forgot the 'e.' Not so dear friend, Prop is for Prop Clothing the eco-fashion line of David Arquette, Ben Harper and David Bedwell. After working on the NY launch last night it moved coasts and to present the LA launch at the Arquettes. The event was a blast, beginning with a synchronized swimming performance. When I first heard about this I was wondering what the H*** but it was a lovely touch, to the fashions to the Ben Harper ++ mini concert.
Let the name dropping begin with in the first 15 minutes I spotted; Heidi Klum, Vincent Gallo, Luka Haas, Lance Armstrong, Diane Wiest, Rosanna Arquette, Laura Dern, many more Arquettes, Pee Wee Herman.....
and if you are curious what my role was in the whole thing - email me

Since its soon to be a memory I figured I should attend a fash show or two at Smashbox this season. I rounded up a few friends and took them to the Elmer Ave show. My friend grabbed her company Smart Car and off we went. It was the Smart Car move of the night as Smart Car is Daimler AG or Mercedes Benz, the show title sponsor. This landed us front row valet parking which made for a very easy getaway....after the show we were heading home and someone was projecting this Converse short film aka ad on the wall. Sorry All pics are fuzzy.

When did winking and shout outs become acceptable debate behaviour? Even a JR High School Debate team would call FOUL on those not so smooth moves....
